1. Bridging English Program + Postgraduate Early Acceptance Scholarship

This scholarship is available for Chinese students who accept a packaged offer for both the Bridging English Program and a postgraduate degree at the University of Queensland. Students who accept their packaged offer 12 weeks before the start date of the Bridging English Program will receive a 20% tuition fee reduction for the Bridging English Program.Choose Bridging English instead of re-sitting English language tests.

Scholarship Conditions

• Early acceptance for 20% reduction.You must accept the packaged conditional offer (Bridging English + UQ postgraduate program) within 12 weeks before the Bridging English start date to be eligible for the scholarship
• Do not miss the deadline. If the offer is not accepted by the 12-week deadline, the scholarship will be withdrawn, tuition will revert to the standard rate, and a revised offer based on full fees will be issued.

• Commence postgraduate studies on time. You must commence your UQ postgraduate program in Semester 1 or Semester 2, 2027 to maintain scholarship eligibility.

The Graduate Diploma of Teaching (GDoT) remains highly popular. Due to high application volumes for Term 3 and Term 5, 2026, the following three teaching specialisations are full: Information Processes and Technology (IPT), Software Design and Development, Business Studies, Accordingly, applications and offers for these specialisations in Term 3 and Term 5, 2026 are closed immediately. For students still interested: May apply for the Master of Teaching (Secondary) (still open) Or consider the Primary teaching stream
